![]() I'll probably still check now and again at Dell support to see if they do in fact release updated drivers, but so far no issues to report (unfortunately the same can't be said about my older PC with an Audigy 4 soundcard, but that is off topic :p). I downloaded SP1 and installed it manually, everything is working fine and I still have sound which is great :) so that might be worth a try? However, since you seem not inclined to manually install it, SP1 should also be pushed as a required update on Automatic Updates sometime next month, so you can always wait till then as well. I had a similar problem as you, onboard SigmaTel sound (Dell), SP1 was blocked on Windows Update.
